• Contacts List: Job Chaahiye does not read the contacts stored on your device, and does not ask for that permission.
• Location Information: Used only when you choose it — by pressing “Near me” on the job search, or “Use my current location” when you set your town. Your browser asks for your permission first, and you can say no and type a city instead. The position is sent to our servers to work out the jobs or the nearest town around you; when you set your town on your profile we keep the town, not the position. On the job search, the position you used appears in the web address of the results page, so anyone you share that link with can see it. The site has no location setting of its own: you can withdraw the permission at any time in your browser's or phone's site settings.
• Files You Choose: Your CV, profile photo and English voice sample are files you pick or record yourself and upload. We receive only what you choose; we do not browse the files or storage on your device.
• Camera Access: Job Chaahiye does not open your camera. When you choose a profile photo, the file chooser on some phones offers to take a new one — that is your phone's own camera app, and we receive only the photo you choose.
• Microphone Usage: Used only if you press Record on the English voice sample in your profile — a short recording, up to 30 seconds, of you speaking English, which employers can play. Microphone access is entirely optional and requires your explicit permission; you can upload an audio file instead. Job Chaahiye does not record video of candidates.
