Delete your JobChaahiye account

You can delete your account whenever you like. Deleting it is permanent: we cannot bring it back afterwards.

If you are looking for a job

Open the JobChaahiye app or website and sign in.
Go to Settings and choose Delete account.
Confirm. Your account is deleted straight away.

If you hire people

An employer account holds jobs, applicants and invoices, so it is closed by our team rather than at a tap.

Sign in to the employer app or website as the account holder (the owner of the company, not a recruiter seat).
Open Company and choose Delete account, then confirm.
That sends us one request and shows you its reference. We close the account within 7 days.

If you cannot sign in

Write to support@jobchaahiye.com from the email address on the account, or tell us the phone number you signed in with, and say you want the account deleted. We will ask you to confirm it is yours before we delete anything, and we answer within 7 days.

What is deleted

Job seekers: your profile, your applications and your saved jobs are deleted, and your name is removed from the notes on employers' coin records.
Employers: the company profile, the team seats and the staff profile are deleted, and the company's jobs are closed so candidates no longer see them.

What is kept

A short record that an account was deleted: for a job seeker, their name, the last four digits of their phone number and how many applications they had; for an employer, the company and who asked. We use it to answer questions about the request, and no automatic deletion date is set for it.
Records of payments and invoices, which the business keeps for accounting. Employers who unlocked a job seeker keep the charge, without the job seeker's name.
Conversations stay in the other person's inbox, shown without your name.
Files you uploaded (a CV, a photo, an audio or video clip) stop being linked from any page, but we do not yet remove the stored copies automatically. Ask us at support@jobchaahiye.com and we will remove them.
